Four Seasons s’installe à Bahrein

Ce n’est pas un poisson d’avril: la très prestigieuse enseigne Four Seasons annonce la toute prochaine ouverture son nouvel établissement, le « Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay » pour le 1er avril prochain.

Ce nouvel établissement de très haut de gamme qui est implanté sur son propre îlot privé, tout près du Sultanat de Bahrein (l’île principale), et proposera 273 chambres dont 57 suites réparties sur 68 étages.

Outre l’accueil des visiteurs en villégiature, ce nouveau Four Seasons sera parfaitement équipé pour recevoir les gros événements comme des séminaires ou des congrès et comportera, notamment, 2 salles de bal éclairées à la lumière du jour qui s’ajoutent aux 5 autres salles de réception prévues pour ce genre d’opérations.

Ce nouveau géant de l’hôtellerie de Barhein ne proposera pas moins que 7 lieux de restauration, offrant toutes les options possibles pour satisfaire à tous les goûts en matière de cuisine internationale (oriantale, asiatique, européenne,…). Le projet faramineux du Qatar pour la finale du Mondial 2022

La prestigieuse agence d’architecture britannique Foster et Partners a été choisie lundi pour concevoir le stade où aura lieu la finale de la Coupe du monde de football au Qatar en 2022.

« Cest un honneur de réaliser cette enceinte », a commenté Lord Norman Foster, l’architecte réputé qui dirige l’agence et qui a déjà conçu l’Hôtel de ville de Londres, le viaduc de Millau (Midi-Pyrénées), le dôme en verre du Reichstag à Berlin ou le réaménagement du stade de Wembley à Londres.

L’enceinte de 80.000 places sera construite sur le site de Lusail, à 15 kilomètres au nord de la capitale Doha.

Le stade sera au coeur d’un vaste projet d’un coût de 38 milliards d’euros, qui verra une ville complètement nouvelle sortir du désert, pour accueillir le rendez-vous mondial du football.

« Nous avons hâte de travailler avec eux (Fosters et Partners) pour créer un stade emblématique, à la fois contemporain et inspiré par la culture qatarie », a expliqué Hassan Al Thawadi, le secrétaire général du Comité suprême pour les projets et l’héritage au Qatar, en charge de l’organisation du Mondial, et qui a choisi l’agence britannique.

« Le stade de Lusail sera l’enceinte principale du tournoi, un stade architecturellement innovant, fonctionnel sur le plan sportif tout en correspondant à nos exigences en matière de développement durable », a-t-il ajouté.

Le stade de Lusail devrait également accueillir la première rencontre de la compétition et la cérémonie d’ouverture.

Le Comité suprême du Qatar a précisé dans un communiqué que la construction du stade se ferait en respectant les normes en termes de conditions de travail des ouvriers.

Les organisations internationales de défense des droits de l’homme ont à plusieurs reprises dénoncé les conditions de travail sur les chantiers du Mondial, depuis l’attribution du Mondial au Qatar en 2010.
